1st Elementary (3P)from 6 to 7 years old

The development of creative thinking will be fostered in CP through problem solving (mathematics), by leaving room for dreams and imagination (written and oral expression), and by learning about other cultures and the arts.

Similarly, raising awareness of sustainability will encourage children to think critically, as sustainable development draws on knowledge from several disciplines (History-Geography, Space, Natural Elements). 

In practical terms, the CP class focuses on introducing working methods and the rules of community life: 

• Listening to and understanding instruction
• Following instructions
• Understanding how a group works
• Understand the reason for the rule
• Understanding the impact of breaking a rule

The fundamentals are taken from the French national education programme and the french-speaking swiss programme. 

30% of the curriculum is taught in English.
